Bill Huemmer’s professional reputation is rooted in commitment to his clients. He entered the mortgage industry in 1985 and built a career that lasted 40 years, helping individuals and families buy homes. Throughout his career, Bill Huemmer was known as a determined professional, willing to guide clients through their home purchase journey while also recording strong loan origination numbers.

Prior to retiring in 2025, Mr. Huemmer had been working as a mortgage loan officer at Old National Bank. He worked directly with clients to originate mortgage loans, overseeing transactions from beginning to end. His ability to communicate clearly and remain patient made a positive impact, especially with first-time home buyers. He also supported company management with training efforts and became a trusted resource for colleagues with questions on loan programs.

Prior to Old National Bank, Mr. Huemmer had served at various financial institutions, including Wisconsin Bank and Trust, Shelter Mortgage, and AnchorBank. His performance was consistently strong, earning him top producer (by loan number and volume) in Wisconsin 30 times. Outside of his work in real estate, he also took on a leadership role as the charter president of the Optimist Club in Monona.

In retirement, Mr. Huemmer focuses on fitness, gardening, and spending meaningful time with his family. He particularly enjoys playing sports with his son.
